Landmarks and Monuments
There are a lot of things to do in Los Angeles. Shopping and touring the monumental landmarks, including the Los Angeles County Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art and the Kodak Theatre are usually considered a must among visitors. Los Angeles offers a rich blend of culture and preservations, most of which are appreciated by people from all over the world.
The architectural landmarks like the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Bradbury Building and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels are also located in the area. Tourists are sure to find such monuments worthy of a visit. If the people are lucky, they may even catch some functions or events which they can check out while they are in the vicinity.
Recreation and Amusement Establishments
There will be of course a wide array of recreational activities to consider as well. With lots of amusement and recreational centers located around Los Angeles, people are sure to have the time of their lives in each of them. The better known amusement centers in the area include Disneyland, Magic Mountain, and Knott’s Berry Farm.
Los Angeles is also home to some of the greatest sports teams around the country. For Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers fans, your roads will lead you to the Staples Center where you can catch stars like Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom in action during the NBA season. For the baseball fanatics, seeing the Dodgers in action at Chavez Ravine will surely be a treat.

It’s called The Disneyland Baby Center. It’s located behind the Plaza Inn on Main Street. Not to be confused as a babysitting service, the baby center at Disneyland is a place where you can relax and care for your child’s needs.
At the baby center, there are special Disney characters present to entertain your baby and assist you with any needs you may have. For moms, you can relax and breast feed your baby in a private, comfortable room. You can take a rest with your baby in a rocking chair and if needed, you can even warm up a bottle of your baby’s favorite food.
There are facilities available in the Disneyland Baby Center where you can wash your baby bottles and changing tables for your baby’s diaper changing needs. There are even smaller sized toilets available for children who are potty training.
The Disneyland Baby Center also stocks basic baby supplies just in case you run out of your own or have an emergency. You can easily purchase baby necessity items such as diapers, different types of formulas and limited selections of baby food - all at very reasonable prices.
Overall, the Disneyland Baby Center is an exceptional facility that is very clean and comfortable. It is Disney’s way of making sure that the needs of all visitors to the Magic Kingdom, no matter how big or small, are well taken care of. If you are thinking of a Disneyland vacation and are worried about bringing your infant child, there is no need to worry. The whole family can enjoy all that Disneyland has to offer.

Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills is known for celebrities and remarkable mansions where the rich and famous reside. Beverly Hills also offers amazing shopping and beautiful hotels which cater to stars. The year-round sunshine and incredible homes make this part of Los Angeles a wonderful place to stay.
West Hollywood
Home of the world-famous Sunset Strip, West Hollywood is a unique cultural center that’s close to the other parts of L.A., too. Santa Monica

If you want to get the best prices, check with a couple of limousine companies for their rates. And if you book your limousine a couple of days in advance you may be able to get a good rate.
Manhattan Beach
Manhattan Beach is 3 miles from Los Angeles International Airport, on the south end of Santa Monica Bay. The beautiful 928-foot pier at the end of Manhattan Beach Boulevard offers year-round fishing. The pier also has an aquarium and marine studies lab, free to the public.
Anaheim
If you’re traveling with your family, visit Anaheim, about an hour south of Los Angeles. Here you will find Disneyland, the jewel in Disney’s Southern California crown. This is a great place to bring your family to spend the day with the Disney characters and riding classic rides like Space Mountain. And don’t forget to watch the parade and fireworks display at night.

LA is still considered a young city. In the mid-nineteenth century, it was a community of white American immigrants, poor Chinese laborers, and wealthy Mexican ranchers, with a population of less than fifty thousand. Definitely, a difference from what it is now. LA is known for it shopping malls, palm trees, and swimming pools. The celluloid self-image of Los Angeles is known all over the world.
The first-time visitor to Los Angeles may well find it to be thrilling and threatening in equal proportions. It is a very fast-paced city and it will pick you up and sweep you along whether you want it to or not. While Los Angeles has many fine-art museums, California cuisine and a few old-fashioned urban plazas, what people really come here for is to experience the city that has come to epitomize the American Dream. This is where teens come to try to become actors and stars.
Recommendation for first time visitors is to visit places such as Universal Studios, Mann’s Chinese Theatre, Venice Beach Boardwalk, Watt’s Towers, Melrose Avenue, Rodeo Drive, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and let us not forget about the amusement parks such as Knott’s Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, and Disneyland.
With all the entertainment available in Los Angeles, you are sure to see a Celebrity or two while you are out and about. There are many things to do in LA, how about just hanging out at the beach and relaxing or surfing in the Pacific Ocean. Many things are within driving distance from LA as well.
